About MARBL.
Andrew Hill (aka marbl.) is a Cincinnati raised & Orange County based producer & DJ
marbl. has had a passion for music since an early age, with a wide variety of stylistic influences throughout his formative years: ranging from breakbeats and drum & bass of the late 90s and early 2000s to Motown, hip-hop and hardcore. In 2011, after rediscovering a passion for electronic music through dubstep and electro house of the late 2000s and early 2010s, he began to DJ at house parties, bars, and smaller venues throughout high school and college. Since then he’s become a regular at Citrus Grove Collective’s ‘Wub Wednesday’ in Costa Mesa, and continues to play bigger stages with Substorm Productions and at Fuzzy Puddles’ ‘Lost in the Sauce’ festival. Diving deeper into production over the last 5 years has led marbl. to further hone his unique sound, which is currently focused on primarily halftime drum & bass and 140, with hip-hop inspired rhythms, crunchy basslines, and some glitch hop influence.
